The comprehensive service provided by Renta Pumps consisted of measurements, overall logistics, installation of the bypass, continuous monitoring of the bypass’s operation and periodic verification of the correct operation of the bypass. The company’s staff showed great professionalism in the planning and implementation of the bypass. The installed installation, allowed safe and trouble-free operation during the pumping station overhaul.
RENTA PUMPS solution
The project used 8 Hidrostal F10 pumps of 970 m3/h each and BBA BA 150 KS pumps for temporary sewage pumping. Operation of the pumps was automatic via 4 PLC control containers controlling the frequency of the pumps, allowing the equipment to operate unmanned for the duration of the project. The configuration of the pumps allowed the total system capacity to reach a maximum of 5,400m3/h. Transport of wastewater to the receiving chamber was by means of a 500mm diameter, 25mb long pipeline, supplied by Renta Pumps. A high-end 500 kVA power generator was supplied as part of the job, along with automation to enable the generator to be started in the event of a power failure.
